SV	En zijn broeders waren kloeke lieden, twee duizend en zevenhonderd hoofden der vaderen; en de koning David stelde hen over de Rubenieten, en Gadieten, en den halven stam der Manassieten, tot alle zaken Gods en de zaken des konings.
WLC	וְאֶחָ֣יו בְּנֵי־חַ֗יִל אַלְפַּ֛יִם וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵאֹ֖ות רָאשֵׁ֣י הָאָבֹ֑ות וַיַּפְקִידֵ֞ם דָּוִ֣יד הַמֶּ֗לֶךְ עַל־הָראוּבֵנִ֤י וְהַגָּדִי֙ וַחֲצִי֙ שֵׁ֣בֶט הַֽמְנַשִּׁ֔י לְכָל־דְּבַ֥ר הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים וּדְבַ֥ר הַמֶּֽלֶךְ׃ פ
Trans.	wə’eḥāyw bənê-ḥayil ’aləpayim ûšəḇ^a‘ mē’wōṯ rā’šê hā’āḇwōṯ wayyafəqîḏēm dāwîḏ hammeleḵə ‘al-hār’ûḇēnî wəhagāḏî w^aḥăṣî šēḇeṭ hamənaššî ləḵāl-dəḇar hā’ĕlōhîm ûḏəḇar hammeleḵə:

AC	לב ואחיו בני חיל אלפים ושבע מאות--ראשי האבות ויפקידם דויד המלך על הראובני והגדי וחצי שבט המנשי לכל דבר האלהים ודבר המלך {פ}
ASV	And his brethren, men of valor, were two thousand and seven hundred, heads of fathers' [houses], whom king David made overseers over the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of the Manassites, for every matter pertaining to God, and for the affairs of the king.
BE	And his brothers were two thousand, seven hundred able men, heads of families, whom King David made overseers over the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, in everything to do with God, and for the king's business.
